Our four
freedoms
Some companies have cultural codes, others have sets of principles. Here at DDB we define our culture differently, with four essential freedoms that is given to everyone so they can do their best work.
Freedom from fear
Fear can paralyze talent. It's like hitting pause on creativity, blocking the free flow of ideas. Fear stems from decisions made behind closed doors, where others hold the fate of your idea. We champion courage through positive intent, shared responsibility and support. That’s why intimidation has no role in DDB.
Freedom to fail
It is in the very nature of creative talent to venture beyond the known, to poke into the unheard of, to pick through scary places untrod by conventional minds. Because there are no assurances that such creative forays will succeed, the explorers must be granted the freedom to fail in order to sustain their desire to venture forth again.
Freedom from chaos
We all deserve to be treated like our time and energy are valuable. Together we will strive to make the objectives clear, the processes simple, and the workplace free of unnecessary drama, so we can focus on what we do best and love most.
Freedom to be
Everyone has a right to be treated with dignity, to be encouraged and supported in their ambitions for higher achievement. But beyond ensuring career growth, talented people must also be allowed to enjoy a life in which there is time for personal fulfillment and for laughter, love and celebration.
